2022-02-22 01:56:44 <lilo_booter > ... was trying to help my son with his maths homework yesterday - basically there were a few problems just giving a set of coordinates with a missing value like (-6,0), (-2,8), (4,?), (10,32) - and not much else given - i plotted the known points so i knew it was a linear equation of the f(x) = ax + b but he didn't seem to have been taught how to solve them
