2026-08-14 20:02:48 <iv4nshm4k0v > Last month, I've mentioned that ZX Spectrum clones were used as home computers around where I live into the early 2000s.  Well, I've been going through my archives, and there's a .tap file with some software (likely from World of Spectrum, at least for the most part) I've prepared for recording a tape to give a pal of mine around 1999-10-13, if timestamps on the files are to be believed.

I've had two working 48k clones (one with RF output, another had BW video + RGB only), and my primary box was already AMD K6 running GNU/Linux, so I hadn't much reason to refuse.  The episode kinda slipped my memory, until today.  (He's got his Pentium the next year, IIRC.)
